Application Deadlines

Providence works on a rolling admissions schedule. First round of admissions will conclude the early part of January, 2012. If you would like to be considered for admittance for the 2012-2013 school year in this first round, please submit your application as well as the documents listed on our checklist by this time.
 
Kindergarten applicants should have their application, $100.00 testing and processing fee and paperwork into the Admissions Office no later than Friday, January 27th, 2012. Once received we will schedule a testing time for your child during the February 4th, 2012 test day. No child will be allowed to test without having turned in the required information stated above. Pre-K 4 students at our preschool (PCDC) will be tested in house during the month of January and may turn in applications at PCDC to Mrs. Rouse at the front welcome desk.

 

First Round Decision Letters

Providence School will mail our first round decision letters the end of February. If your family has submitted a completed application packet you will receive a letter from us informing you of your standing. It has been a pleasure working with all of you through this process and look forward to making new relationships with future applicants.

 

Ambassador Program

Beginning Thursday, October 13th, 2011 we will be launching our Ambassador Program for any students interested in attending our Upper School during the 2012-2013 school year. Your rising 6th – 12th grader will be paired with a member of the class they are in and given a brief tour of the campus from a student perspective. They will then join our Upper School Chapel and experience worship with our student body and finish their morning attending a class with their ambassador. Please call the Admissions office to schedule this fun, informative morning for your child.

Open Enrollment Continues

Student Evaluations are given by appointment only and based on grade availability.

 

ISEE (Independent School entrance Exam) Grades 7-12 -Testing Sites and Dates

Please visit the ERB ISEE Testing website to register your 7-12 grade student for the ISEE. Testing dates are October 22, 2011, December 3, 2011, January 21, 2012, and February 11, 2012.

 

First – Sixth Grade

Testing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012.  Testing will take approximately one hour. Completed applications must be submitted to the Admissions Office prior to registration. Once applications are received, we will call to schedule you for this testing date.

 

Kindergarten

Testing will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Completed applications must be submitted to the Admissions Office prior to registration. We will call to schedule your child's testing time that day. Students currently attending Providence Child Development Center will be tested in January at the Preschool.
