Admission Process

Procedures
- Contact the Admissions Office for a View Book or download the application.
- Complete and sign the application and obtain all required copies of documents noted on the admissions checklist. You must have the required documents in order to schedule an admissions test.
- Students entering K-6th will be tested on campus. Contact the Admissions Office to schedule an exam. Students entering 7-12th must register for the ISEE examination. Please refer to the website for testing sites and dates.
- The applicant's completed file is reviewed by the admissions review committee and decisions are mailed to applicant's home.
- Upon receipt of your letter of academic acceptance, please contact the Admissions office to schedule the final step in the application process, the family interview. Once an invitation for enrollment has been extended, a meeting with the registrar will be scheduled.
Selection Consideration
- Admission is based on availability of space, prior school records, personal interview and performance on entrance exam.
- The student's attitude is important. Does he/she want to come to Providence?
- Students who are admitted to Providence School must agree to adhere to the Christian philosophy of education and all policies outlined in the Parent/Student handbook (Lower School Handbook, Middle School Handbook, High School Handbook).
- Providence School does not discriminate against students of any ethnic origin in its admission or educational policies, athletic programs or other school- administered programs.
