Athletic Director - Ron Pompeo

Dear Friends,

Welcome to Providence School. Athletics are a vital part of the Providence experience. Our athletic department exists to enhance the entire Providence community by providing an environment and the means for a student to improve his/her quality of life through athletics.

Our emphasis is on participation with a steadfast commitment to the fundamental values of Christian life as demonstrated through good sportsmanship and a sense of fair play. Providence has committed to participate in the State Farm Sportsmanship Program through the Florida High School Athletics Association. With this comes the responsibility of coaches, parents, athletes and spectators to demonstrate the type of exemplary behavior that should be consistent with the values of integrity, fairness, and respect of others.

Here at Providence we have been blessed with extremely dedicated coaches and leaders. These people do not just coach a sport but take our students into their hearts and realize the importance of all that they do. There is a unique bond bwtween Providence fans and their athletic teams. It goes beyond athletic competition and winning and losing. But let there be no doubt that game day brings out the best!
