Annual Giving
Since the inception of The Providence School in 1996, we have operated as an independent college preparatory school. Therefore, Providence has only two forms of operating income: 1) tuition, and; 2) voluntary contributions. With tuition covering approximately 90% of the cost of educating each student, the operational deficit and new capital improvements require Providence to privately raise funds. The Office of Advancement of The Providence School seeks to receive contributions from current parents, alumni, grandparents, faculty, staff, grants, foundations and friends through the Annual Giving capital campaigns and planned giving.
The Annual Giving campaign for The Providence School is the largest source of non-tuition operational revenue. Raising over $200,000 in unrestricted funding each year for the Annual Giving campaign plays a crucial role in building a bridge between tuition revenue and the cost of operating The Providence School. We are very proud of the parents, faculty, staff, alumni and friends who participate in the Annual Giving Campaign every year.
