Dress Down Day Dresscode
- Hats, caps, stocking caps, and do-rags are never to be worn unless students are specifically instructed by the administration that they may do so.
- Shorts are never appropriate for field trips or dress down days.
- Jackets or shirts that have hoods are not allowed.
- Sandals, open-toed shoes, backless shoes, and flip-flops are a safety hazard and cannot be worn unless specifically instructed by the administration that they may do so.
- No tank tops, spaghetti straps, low-cut tops, or tops where the midriff is showing when the hands are raised. (The hands being raised are indicative of freedom of movement throughout the school day.)
- No stretch, clingy, or tight pants should be worn. Pants should be free of cuts or holes. Capris can be worn but must be mid-calf.
- No skirts or dresses are to be worn.
- Graphic designs that depict secular bands, mystical figures or images that would conflict with the Christian life should not be worn.
- Sunglasses may not be worn inside the building (even on top of your head).
- All guidelines in the Parent-Student Handbook regarding hair, jewelry, makeup, and facial hair are applicable and will be enforced.
- When themes define our dress down day, students are required to dress according to the theme.
- Spirit day requires the students wear blue jeans, a shirt with the Providence School logo, and shoes with backs. Simply wearing black, teal, or goal is not acceptable.
- Class/club dress down requires the students wear blue jeans, class/club t-shirt, and shoes with backs.
