Mrs. Dorothy Weinman teaches Contemporary World History and AP European History and serves as the head of the Social Science Department of Providence School.  She has been teaching at Providence for over 10 years.  She has also served as the chair person of one of Providence's accreditation committees and currently serves on the Strategic Planning Advisory Council of Providence School.  She graduated magna cum laude from Malone University, a Christian liberal arts institution.  She holds a B.A. in Comprehensive Social Studies and has done graduate work over the years.  She is certified by the State of Florida as well as the Association of Christian Schools International.  She has over 20 years of successful teaching experience in Christian education.  She has a deep desire for her students to be well-prepared for upper level and college classes.  She believes that it is essential for Christians to be equipped to be placed at the highest levels of our society.  She is married and has two children.  Her outside interests include travel and genealogy.
