High School

Providence High School educates students in grades 9 through 12. Students are challenged academically, nurtured spiritually and enriched socially. The biblical model for this development is found in Luke 2:52 “And Jesus grew in wisdom, stature and in favor with God and Man.”

High school is a time when the focus changes from foundational work to preparation for college and vocation. Our goal is to provide a rigorous, comprehensive, college preparatory program that will equip our students to succeed in college and become our next generation of leaders.

A vital part of our high school is the spiritual training students receive. They receive this training through daily Bible classes, weekly Chapel services and biblically integrated curriculum. Our purposeful intention is to guide students to think biblically; so that they will live a Christ centered life.

High School is also a time of life when we are afforded great opportunities to explore and expand upon our gifts and talents. Through a wide array of activities in athletics (baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, weightlifting and wrestling) and fine arts (band, chorus, dance, drama, pottery and drawing) as well as clubs, honor societies and special events that permeate the high school experience.

Prospective students and their parents are invited to visit the school, tour the campus and experience Providence School for themselves.

Ps. 1:1-3 (NIV)

1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.
