Students who participate in Drama at Providence develop their dramatic skills both on stage and off. Under the direction of Sue Rausch and Chris Giannetto, they not only learn how much hard work is put in planning a major production, but also get a chance to audition for a part. It is a rewarding experience for everyone involved. In the past few years they have performed Joseph (1999), Oklahoma (2000), Esther (2001),The Music Man (2002), The Promise (2003), My Fair Lady (2004), High Cotton (2005), Annie (2006) and The Sound of Music (2007).

Providence also has the honor of having an International Thespian Honor Society which recognizes those students who excel in all areas of theatre production.

Providence School won first place in the national Scenographics set competition for the sets used in our production of Sound of Music.
