Fine Arts
The Lower School Fine Arts program adheres to the philosophy that a strong, well-developed arts education is a requirement for the realization of the potential in each student. We believe the fine arts enhances the acquisition of the “three R’s” and develops an adaptability and creative approach to the application of the basic skills, which are so important in our rapidly changing world. Children are offered an introduction and appreciation of the arts which are designed especially for each grade level. These programs are exciting and applicable to the development of each child. Providence’s goal is for students to look forward to each new experience and to grow emotionally, spiritually and socially as they embrace their gifts and recognize and value the talents of their peers.
