Preschool Administrators
Cindy Kirby is the Preschool Director. Mrs. Kirby has been a resident of Jacksonville, Florida since 1965. She has worked in the area of early Christian education for the past 23 years. Mrs. Kirby was a Kindergarten and Preschool teacher for 15 years and has been the Preschool Director at Providence Child Care Development Center since 1998. She brings to the position a true love for children and a passion for early childhood education in a Christian school setting.
Mrs. Kirby has taught Sunday school at the elementary and preschool levels, assisted in Team Kids at a community church, was the Bible Club sponsor for 3 years at a local Christian school, taught VBS, and has volunteered in the church nursery for many years.
Mrs. Kirby held the position of Elementary Department Chairperson in a local Christian school and designed and implemented a successful Christian school Kindergarten program to enhance an existing preschool. Mrs. Kirby has extensive training and experience in the field of early education and holds a Preschool Director’s Credential issued by the state of Florida.
Cindy and her husband, Kent, have three daughters and one son.

Peggy Woznick is the Assistant Director. Mrs. Woznick is originally from New York. She taught four- year- olds and was Assistant Director at her previous school for ten years before moving to Jacksonville in 1997. Mrs. Woznick has been working at Providence Child Care Development Center since 1998 as a
K-4 teacher and as Assistant Director since 2004.
Mrs. Woznick has her B.A. in Education specializing in Nursery – Sixth Grade. She began teaching in the preschool setting when her children were young. She loves being with the children and being able to minister to them in a Christian setting and cannot imagine doing anything else.
Peggy and her husband, Rick, have four daughters and one grandchild.
