Art at Providence has grown tremendously in the past few years. The reason, no doubt, is Mrs. Dennison. She exposes students to a wide range of techniques, all while still allowing some fun.
Students are taught shading techniques, as well as the correct use of colors and pastels in 2-Dimensional Art. In 3-Dimensional Art the students get their hands dirty while making pottery. There are various art classes available at Providence for any skill level, beginners through AP Art Portfolio.
Providence students' artwork is consistently on show at the Jacksonville International Airport. We are proud to be the first private school to be given this distinction.
