Kimberly Wilkins

Since earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, a master’s degree from Wake Forest University, and a second master’s degree from the University of North Florida, Mrs. Wilkins has been actively involved in education at both the secondary and post-secondary levels. Mrs. Wilkins has been with Providence since January of 1999 and, as a member of the English Department, taught at least one year of every level of English from 7-12th grade in the Providence Upper School. Mrs. Wilkins joined the Providence Guidance Department in the fall of 2002 and began in administration in 2005. Mrs. Wilkins is a member in good standing of several professional organizations including the American School Counselors Association, the Florida Counseling Association, and the First Coast Counseling Association. Kim and her husband, Victor, have one son who attends Providence School and one daughter who attends the University of Florida.
Ashley Brooks
6th and 7th Grade Academic Advisor

After graduating from Louisiana State University in 1995 with a Masters in Education and double major in journalism and English, Mrs. Brooks taught English and journalism at Byrd High School in Shreveport, Louisiana and at Fletcher Middle School in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Upon completing her fifth year of teaching, God called her into full-time ministry alongside her husband at Celebration Church where she served as Middle School Pastor for two years. In 2004, Mrs. Brooks and her husband moved to Alpharetta, Georgia where they planted Highlands Church and served as Senior Pastors for over two years. Mrs. Brooks joined the Providence faculty in 2008 where she is the 6th and 7th Grade Advisor as well as a teacher in the Bible Department. Mrs. Brooks and her husband, Chris, have two children, C.J. and Maggie, who both attend Providence, and the couple both serve as pastors at Celebration Church.
Amanda Davis
Senior Counselor

After earning her bachelor’s degree in English at Southeastern University in 1996, Mrs. Davis has earned her master's degree in education and school counseling from the University of North Florida. Prior to joining Providence’s faculty in 2000, Mrs. Davis served as a wilderness guide and program director for a children’s camp in Northern California, donor liaison for missionaries at Wycliffe Bible Translators in Orlando, Florida, and a program director at a Jacksonville area YMCA. She served as a teacher at Providence for five years with the English Department teaching 6-8 grade Language Arts and middle and high school creative writing. She joined the Guidance Department the summer of 2005. She is a member of the American School Counselors Association, the Florida Counseling Association, and the Florida School Counseling Association, National Association for College Admission Counseling, and Southern Association for College Admission Counseling. Mrs. Davis and her husband, Dennis, have a daughter, Ava.
Dawn Pelletier
Middle School and Freshmen Counselor

Originally from Ocala, Mrs. Pelletier moved to Jacksonville to attend the University of North Florida where she completed both her undergraduate studies in Psychology and master's degree in School Counseling. She began working at Providence following graduation in 2006 and is now in her 3rd year here at the school. Mrs. Pelletier is a member in good standing of several professional organizations including the American School Counselors Association, the Florida Counseling Association, and the First Coast Counseling Association Mrs. Pelletier enjoys traveling, theatre, and sports of any kind. She and her husband are expecting their first child in December.
Katie Rose
Sophomore and Junior Counselor

Mrs. Rose has been a part of the Providence Family since the school’s inception in 1997. Before joining the Guidance Department, Mrs. Rose taught several subjects at Providence, including Life Management and Dance. In addition to serving as the sophomore and junior counselor, Mrs. Rose also teaches the Dance Team and is the founder of the after school dance program at Providence. Mrs. Rose graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Georgia and received her master’s degree from the University of North Florida for Education in Mental Health Counseling. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American School Counselor Association, Florida Counseling Assocation, Phi Theta Kappa, American Counseling Assocation, and the National Association of College Admissions Counselors. Mrs. Rose is married and has two children, Trey and Taylor.
Leah Wilkes

Mrs. Wilkes has been an integral part of Providence School since its inception and has worked in many capacities over the years, including registration and reenrollment and the front office staff. She has been Providence's Guidance Assistant since 2001. She and her husband Glenn attend New Life Christian Fellowship and have two children: Jenna and Brandon, both of which graduated from Providence School.
