Application Process

Thank you for your interest in Providence School.  We are excited about what God is doing on our campus through our students, faculty and staff, and families.  Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will ever make.  It is during these formative years that life-long friendships are made, spiritual formation takes place, and values will be instilled.  Providence School looks forward to partnering with you in your child’s education.

Providence  Preschool:

Providence Preschool accepts students from ages 2 – 5. To apply at Providence Preschool, please call 904-223-0809 for more information.

Providence  School:

Providence School accepts students in Kindergarten – 12th grade. The steps below are an overview of our application process.  Since this is a confidential process, you will be required to complete an online application and follow the steps online.

Steps To Apply:

 

Step 1 - Online Application

An online application is the first step in the admission process. You will create a log-in account so that you may track the progress of your application.

  • Kindergarten – Grade 12: A non-refundable fee of $120 must be submitted with each application. This fee includes testing for Kindergarten through Grade 6. ISEE testing for grades seven through eleven are charged separately. Registration for the ISEE test is at the following website: https://www.erblearn.org/parents/isee-overview.
  • Preschool Applicants: A non-refundable fee of $25 must be submitted with each application fee excluding VPK.

Step 2 - Schedule Admission Test

Grades K – 6:  Please contact our admissions office at admissions@prov.org or call 904-223-5270

Grades 7 – 11:   All applicants must submit ISEE testing results in order to complete their admission application. Please register through the ISEE website and list Providence School as a score recipient. Providence School’s school code is 102106. Students who have completed the SAT or ACT within the past six months may submit these results in lieu of ISEE testing. 

Students Entering 12th Grade:  All rising 12th Grade students are required to submit  SAT or ACT test results.

Test Results must be received by Providence School in order to complete the application process.

Step 3 - Teacher Recommendations

All K-5th-grade applicants must request one recommendation from their current teachers in math or English.

All 6th-12th-grade applicants must request two recommendations from their current teachers in math or English.

Completed teacher recommendations will be submitted through the online portal, FACTS, as they are confidential. This is part of the online application.

Step 4 - Family Conference

A family conference is required for all students who submit an application to Providence. You will be contacted by the school to schedule a family conference. We look forward to meeting with you!

Step 5 - Acceptance Notification

Providence School will send you an acceptance notification so that you can complete the enrollment process.
