The Storehouse Golf Tournament
Providence School is invited to participate in a Golf Tournament benefitting The Storehouse. It is beautiful to see needs being met. Providence has been able to assist families in the Jacksonville community through our annual Fall Food Drive, Clothing & Household Donations, and this year, Fore For The Store Golf Tournament. In addition, our High School students can earn community service hours without leaving campus through this outreach.
The Storehouse
Since opening in 2020, The Storehouse has welcomed families in need to shop for free used items. No money is exchanged at The Storehouse. Families are able to get free clothing, furniture, household items, toys for the kids and so much more. We have seen families that are sleeping on the floor, and with no furniture in the house, walk away with beds, dressers, couch, table and chairs, etc. for their home.
The storehouse is completely reliant on donations from the community. We take the used donations, sort and clean them up, displaying them in the store for our guests to shop freely. We are so grateful for the Providence’s support of The Storehouse efforts to be an answer to those in need.
