Jacob Gray, a seventh grade student in the Arrowsmith program, mastered an extremely challenging exercise in Symbol Relations commonly referred to as the “Clocks exercise”. This exercise works on the part of the brain that is responsible for critical skills such as comprehension, logic, understanding relationships, and cause and effect. Students study the relationships between the hands of the clocks beginning with a simple two handed clock and progress through other clocks. Jacob was working on an eight handed clock and mastered the entire level! He is the first Providence student to accomplish this major goal. We are so proud of Jacob and his hard work on this exercise!
Be on the lookout for information regarding this course being offered as an optional elective for our rising fourth and fifth grade students for the 2018-2019 school year!
