We currently have zero Covid-19 positive cases. Please partner with us to have your student arrive to school with their mask every day. We are currently providing over 350 masks a week to students who forget to bring one to school or to those that break, get soiled or lost throughout the school day. We are monitoring the students who repeatedly need a mask upon arrival and potential action may be implemented for those who come unprepared. Please have your child wear a mask to school and keep one in their backpack as a backup.
We have implemented a new policy when students have 3 consecutive absences/virtual attendance. The student will now be required to provide a doctor’s note to return after 3 days of virtual attendance or absence. Doctor’s notes are STILL required when your child arrives late to school due to an appointment per our student handbook. We appreciate your partnership and we are praying for all of those who have been affected by COVID-19. Covid-19 Info Webpage

4th Grade Wax Museum
Over the last few weeks, the 4th Grade students were busy working on a biography research project on a famous historical figure. Students research a person, write a biography report, and “be” the person in a living wax museum. The culminating part of this project is an amazing Wax Museum where students dress up as the person they have learned about and stand still, like a Wax Museum, until someone walks up to them and presses their button. Due to COVID-19, we were unable to do this in person but are creating a video instead. The video will be finished soon. Learn More.
Middle & High School
2021 Senior Trip
The Seniors had a great time bonding as a class in their trip to the Grand Canyon. They experienced Native American cultures found throughout this region. In addition, they discovered the geological treasures of the American Southwest, exploring Phoenix, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Monument Valley. Hiking was also a highlight as they enjoyed red canyonlands. They are ready to finish strong but will always cherish the memories they made on this trip!

Being active can help boost our overall wellbeing. Exercising for even just for a short portion of the day can be a great boost for us physically and mentally as we deal with the stressors of life. Taking a walk, playing outside, or going for a bike ride can all be great ways to stay active. The key is finding something you enjoy so that you will want to do it regularly. Playing a sport, dancing, or even doing online aerobic workouts at home can all be a great way to be active. Here is a great article from Nemours discussing the health benefits of exercise for teens: https://kidshealth.org/en/teens/exercise-wise.html We love you guys and hope you have a wonderful spring break. Stay active!
