Providence COVID Update
No new updates to report. The school appreciates your help in our efforts to remain open. As we enjoy this extended weekend please continue to practice safety precautions of social distancing and washing hands. Students need to remain diligent in refraining from gathering in large groups. Flu shots are also recommended due to decreased immune systems from prolonged quarantining.

Hispanic Heritage Month
Buenos días! September 15 – October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month and the Spanish Honor Society and the upper level Spanish classes have completed creative projects to highlight awareness and celebrate the diversity of culture in America. In the foyer by the gym is a display of Hispanic influence and influencers, and upstairs outside the band room, are recreations of art by famous Hispanic painters and artists like Diego Rivera, Pablo Picasso, and Salvador Dali. Students will also be playing a Kahoot game during lunch as a fun activity to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.

2020 Food Drive The Spanish and French Honor Society students are taking on this project and working with New Life Christian Fellowship to prepare for a harvest of blessings to the local community. In order to ensure that the pantry is filled with items of greatest need and desire, we are appointing particular items to each grade level and asking that you only bring in those particular products. This will ensure that the pantry is balanced and stocked with everything to help sustain the less fortunate right here in Jacksonville. Thank you in advance for partnering with us in this opportunity to love God by loving others! Read More.
