Christmas Greetings from the Head of School
Dear Providence Family,

As we head into the Christmas season, I find myself full of gratitude. Gratitude for what every one of you contributes to our educational mission and appreciation for our school’s many ways of Loving God and Loving Others.

We have had several wonderful Christmas celebrations over the past couple of weeks and the focus for each one was celebrating the birth of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ. All who attended were blessed by the continued display of our Lord’s faithfulness and our community pressing forward, not letting circumstances deter us from His mission.  Looking back since the start of school, we have much of which we are grateful. That’s not to say we haven’t had our share of challenges. And yet, I find myself just as thankful for how we are working together through tough times, and I am thankful for all the loving things we continue to do. As we continue to engage and dialogue with one another openly, respectfully, and with a shared desire to forge a better way forward, our Providence community will only grow stronger.

I hope this Christmas season affords you some time to reflect upon and rejoice over the blessings in your life. Thank you again for your commitment to Providence School and our mission. I look forward to seeing you again in the new year.

Merry Christmas, Providence, and Go Stallions!

Tim M. Anderson, Ph.D.
Head of School

3rd Grade Samaritan’s Purse
We are so excited to share with you that our 3rd graders raised a total of $2,002.00 for Samaritan’s Purse!! This is the most we have EVER raised! Students had lemonade stands, sold cookies, and went above and beyond in their chores. They were able to buy goats, chicks, sports equipment, stuffed lambs, Bible books, a water source, feed hungry children… and the list goes on. Their sweet hearts continue to amaze us each and every day!!! It was truly such a sweet experience watching the children get so excited about blessings others!! We pray they continue to spread JOY and SPRAKLE!

Lower School K-2 Christmas Program
The Kindergarten, 1st Grade, and 2nd Grade students performed three different Christmas productions last week.  The event was also livestreamed but in case you missed it, it can be seen below.

Lower School 3rd – 5th Grade Program
The 3rd – 5th Grade students performed a wonderful production, “Straight Outta Bethlehem” last week.  It was a delightful Christmas story that takes place in the “sleepy” little village of Bethlehem and happens to be the place where an incredible miracle takes place. Congratulations students and thank you, Mrs. Tamburrino, Teachers, Teacher Assistants and everyone behind the scenes who made this performance so outstanding.

STEM Lab Makes Snow

The lower school students reviewed what they learned bout the water cycle and different forms precipitation can take by making fake snow.  The students thoroughly enjoyed the snow making process.
