Schoolwide
From The Head Of School
I hope this message finds you well and that everyone in your world is safe and in good health. On behalf of the entire school, congratulations on a successful start of the 2020-2021 school year. Thank you for your partnership thus far and for diligently working to keep our students and campus safe. I often marvel at how our students have been able to foster a deep sense of closeness during this time of physical distancing. I am grateful for your understanding, flexibility, and resilience, as we all navigate through an ever-changing environment. With your help, our enthusiastic students and talented faculty are finding ways to ensure that even though masks are worn and social distancing is practiced, our minds remain open to learning and our hearts to making connections.

Game Day Update
In an effort to protect our fans, staff and students, Providence School will implement a reduced seating capacity for all of our athletic events. We will begin the fall season by allowing only participants and their nuclear family to attend home games. This applies to players, cheerleaders and marching band members. Following this protocol will allow for added physical distance for our Providence families. We will continuously reevaluate this matter and are hopeful we will be able to increase our capacity and welcome all our students in the weeks to come. Due to limited spacing, all tickets for our athletic events will be pre-sold using the Go Fan App. We are making every effort to live stream all home athletic events. Read More.
Providence Dad’s Club
WELCOME BACK Providence Dads! Good Morning Providence Dads new and old, And Praise the Lord, school is back! While there may be some of you that have been on the fence about sending your children back to school, we imagine most of you, like ourselves, are more excited than anything….
I never want to speak for someone else, but the academics, more exposure to the lord, social interaction with other classmates, activities, and another adult helping support our children (and getting them out of the house) was desperately needed for my household. The last few months has been the most bizarre and unique period of our lives, and likely will be for the foreseeable future. However, we are confident that with our children being back in school and the support of one another, 2020 – 2021 can be an incredible year. Strange: Yes. Difficult at times: absolutely
But Incredible: Well, that is up to us…… And I for one want nothing more than you all and your families to have the best year personally, professionally and academically that you have ever had.Let us all remember that our children and their wellbeing is our top priority; and know that every one of us will do everything within our power to support and lift one another’s families up in good times and bad.….
We all know the majority of the wives/mothers do the heavy lifting for the kids and representation at our school. Our goal as the Providence Dads club is to is to lead by example for our children and other fathers looking to get involved with Providence and our community. Keep an eye out for upcoming activities and events in the near future, whatever that looks like. Likely with masks required by the school…..“The Providence Dads Club is an active member-driven organization designed to enhance the growth and experience of our Providence students, lead by example in our adult relationships and supportive of all activities of our kids and long-term development.”
Good Luck and God Speed.
