Giving Back for Dress Down Day!
On Wednesday, September 16th, there was a school-wide Dress Down Day in honor of Linda White’s sister and family, who lost their house and ALL of their belongings in the Oregon fires.

The students were encouraged to contribute any amount they felt led to donate (minimum of $1).  Students really stepped up, and they gave so generously- many gave from their own money. On average, students normally raise $200-$300 per Dress Down day. However, this Dress Down to help one of our faculty’s family totaled $2,550!!!  We are so proud and thankful for our Providence community.  This is truly “Loving Others” in action.  Coach White and her family are very touched by the outpouring of love.  They thank all of Providence for their support during this very difficult time.

PTP Update
The Providence Parent-Teacher Partnership would like to welcome each and every family back to school.  We hope your students are happy to be back on campus and the new school year has been a positive experience for all.

In a normal year, the PTP would already be busy planning many of the events that we host throughout the year. Typically, the PTP hosts a Used Uniform Sale, the Boo Hoo Kindergarten Breakfast, a New Parent Dinner, Fall Festival, Christmas Decoration Setup/Takedown, Grandparents Day, Teacher Appreciation Luncheon and the Annual Stallion Stampede. Although some of these events have been canceled or postponed, we want to be sure we are ready to start planning when we are able.  If you are looking for a way to get involved at Providence, look no further! Please email your contact information to providenceptp@gmail.com to be placed on our list of volunteers.

As the year moves forward, we can’t wait to get back to hosting many of the events that our school community has grown to love and we would love for you to join us.

We hope to see you all very soon,

The Providence PTP

Providence Chapels have gotten off to a great start. We are now able to live stream all chapels so our virtual students can be a part of chapel. In Upper School, we have focused on Hope, Who is Jesus, and How to walk out our Christian Life. Our student-led worship team is giving us time to reflect and be touched by the presence of God. We are excited to have time with the Lord that is planned in our school schedule.
