Weightlifting Season Begins With A...

Strong Start

Providence School hosted our first high school weightlifting meet of the season with Bishop Kenny High School this week and it was a huge success! All weightlifting athletes exhibited great effort in competing in Bench Press as well as the Clean and Jerk. Great teamwork and sportsmanship were displayed by both teams of athletes and their coaches. We had one first-place finish in the 129# weight class by JP Martin and 5 second-place finishes in their weight classes: Hunter Martin, Spencer Haak, Riley McGlohorn, Jonathan Godi, and Max Sushinsky. Thank you to head Coach Jordan Chambers and Providence School for support of our new Weightlifting team. In His Strength!
