FHSAA State Tournament

let’s go stallions

Congratulations to the Stallions Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team! πŸ€πŸ”₯

The Stallions are headed to the FHSAA 2A State Basketball Tournament after a dominant 64–37 victory over The First Academy in the Region 2A Final. This marks the seventh regional championship in program history and the seventh trip to the State Tournament, a goal the team has had since the beginning of the season.

The Stallions were led by Nolan Nelson, who posted a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds, and William Stewart, who added 20 points and 16 rebounds. Stewart continues his impressive shooting streak, hitting 50% or better in eight consecutive games. Luke Mayberry also made a strong impact, contributing seven points, five assists, and five rebounds.

With the win, Providence School improves to 27–3 on the season and extends its home winning streak to 14 straight games dating back to last year, averaging 72.3 points per game over that stretch. The Stallions previously captured state titles in 2010, 2013, and 2015.

Congratulations to our players, coaches, and incredible Stallion fans!
