About Preschool

Developing a Lasting Love for Learning

Providence Preschool is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing premier Christian education for children ages 2 -5 years. Our preschool develops in young children a lifelong love of learning by honoring each child’s natural talents and abilities in partnership with parents. We forge an indelible path towards the cultivation of confident, independent, young minds.

All About Preschool

Providence Preschool is first and foremost, a Christian preschool. We are part of Providence School and share their mission statement, statement of faith, and educational philosophy. Choosing the right preschool for your child is a very important decision. Providence Preschool looks forward to partnering with you in your child’s education.

Create Lifelong Learners

Providence Preschool, provides a Christ-centered, quality preschool education that creates lifelong learners. Our teachers provide a nurturing environment for K-2, K-3, K-4 and Jr. Kindergarten students to promote academic, spiritual, emotional, and social growth. Through positive reinforcement, we strive to instill the value and joy of learning within each child.

Biblical Foundation

We believe all our students are a gift from God, created in His image and loved by Him. Our curriculum is taught from a Biblical perspective that allows children to experience God’s love for them and lays a foundation for their future spiritual development. By integrating God’s Word throughout the day, your child will gain an understanding of who the Creator is and how He intervenes in the world around them.

Hands-On Learning

Our curriculum is engaging and fosters a love of learning in your child. We believe preschoolers are active learners; therefore, developmentally appropriate learning centers, activities, and hands on opportunities to explore are readily available.

Partnering With Parents

Our goal at Providence Preschool is to partner with you as the parent in preparing your child to fulfill God’s purpose for his or her life. We consider this partnership a great privilege that allows us to work together to cultivate hearts, challenge minds, and impact future generations. As our faculty of Christian teachers interacts with the children on a daily basis, they strive to instill in each one the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Top Bee Character Development

An extension of our character development curriculum is our Top Bee Program. Each week a child from every class is selected as a Top Bee. This is based on demonstrating the Fruits of the Spirit and following The Golden Rule. The Top Bee is announced at the beginning of every chapel.  Top Bee’s join our Director on the stage and are recognized for their amazing choices. The Top Bee’s picture is then placed in the school beehive for all to see!

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” Galatians 5:22

Jr. Kindergarten

Our Junior Kindergarten program provides a bridge between preschool and kindergarten for young 5-year-olds who may need a little more time to develop a strong beginning foundation. It is designed to ensure that all students have the skills and confidence they need to achieve their full potential the following year in kindergarten.

Weekly Chapel

One of the greatest privileges of being a preschool student at Providence is the opportunity to gather for weekly chapel. There are also special chapel services throughout the year featuring the Providence High School chapel team and New Life’s children’s ministry team.
