Fourth Grade Goes for the Gold at Math Olympics

matholympics

Providence fourth graders put their math skills to the test during a fun-filled Math Olympics designed to review first-quarter math standards.

Students rotated through Olympic-themed events and challenges that incorporated the concepts they have been learning in the classroom. From solving math problems to participating in hands-on activities, students had the opportunity to practice important skills in a creative and engaging way.

Parents joined their children for the event, working alongside them as they completed the different challenges. The Math Olympics provided a great opportunity for families to experience firsthand what students have been learning while encouraging teamwork, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition.

It was a winning combination of learning, family involvement, and fun as our fourth graders celebrated a strong first quarter at Providence!
