The King Center is Officially Open

We are proud to announce that our new King Center is officially open! This expansive restroom and concession facility, adjacent to Selman Field and our Lower School playground, is a welcome and much-anticipated addition and we are incredibly grateful to many who made this possible. Andy and Jesica King passionately challenged others to join their family in ensuring this project came to fruition for our students and campus and we are tremendously thankful for their leadership-level giving. We are also grateful for Sean and Lydia Altenbach and their leadership in helping to launch this project, partnering with Providence every step of the way.

Additionally, we were blessed to have had design concept consulting from JuliAnne Kelly, Providence Class of 2006, an invested project donor, and current parent of two Second Generation Stallions. Every decision that went into the King Center layout was intentional, ensuring we are meeting the needs of students who will utilize it during the school day and fans who want to get back to the game quickly.  With 17 stalls on the women’s side and ample space on the men’s, we are excited to eliminate porta-potties from our campus!

Our gameday experiences will be further professionalized through partnership with Sage Dining who will handle all concessions out of King Center’s multiple service windows. King Center also features a coaching office and athletic flex spaces.

The renovated area around King Center boasts updated lighting and gorgeous landscaping, including beautiful new King Palms. Thanks to the Aitken Family, we have added a permanent life-size bronze Stallion, which will become a point of pride for students and alumni alike, as well as a great photo opportunity for generations to come. We look forward to our teams creating winning traditions around this incredible new campus landmark.

Please join us in thanking the following who generously invested in King Center.-
