



The boys and girls track and field teams brought home an impressive collection of medals at the state championship meet, highlighted by a third-place overall finish for the boys and a fourth-place finish for the girls. The boys’ team also captured three state championships in an outstanding performance. This marks Coach Michael Owens’ third year leading the Stallions track and field program.


Boys Track Team
The Stallion boys captured three state championships, including the Boys 4×800-meter relay, (Sam Loftin ‘26, Charley West ‘26, Harrison Kozlowski ‘26, and Sean Cunningham ‘27 ), Sam Loftin’26 in the 800-meter run, and Sean Cunningham ‘27 in the 3200-meter run. Additional podium performances and scoring finishes came from Sam Loftin’26 in the 1600-meter run (3rd), Grayson Jackson ‘26 in the discus (3rd), Harrison Kozlowski ‘26 in the 3200-meter run (4th), and Brody St. Dennis ‘27 in the 3200-meter run (6th).
Girls Track Team
Leading the girls’ team was state champion Coral Sklenicka ’27 in the pole vault. State runner-up finishes came from the Girls 4×800-meter relay (Sara Palmer ‘27, Emma Akhundjanov ’29, Katie Cunningham ‘27, and Kasey Davey ‘26), and Caroline Collins ’27 inthe discus. Additional team points were earned by Avenlee Loewen ‘28 in the javelin (3rd), Olivia Rogina 29‘ in the 400-meter hurdles (5th), Ailise Johnson ‘27 in the discus (5th), Kasey Davey ‘26 in the 800-meter run (7th), and the girls 4 x 400 M relay (Allie Brown ‘30, Olivia Rogina ‘29, Katie Cunningham ‘27, and Kasey Davey ’26), which placed 7th overall.
