Extended Day & Clubs
The excitement is just beginning...
when the school day ends.
Our extended day program offers a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and creativity. Students are encouraged to try new activities or grow in areas they already enjoy. Extended Day is offered to Lower and Middle School students and combines enriching activities and flexible scheduling to meet our families’ needs. Drop-in care is also available. We hope your children will join us!
Extended Day
Each grade level has snack time, homework time, and free play inside and outside. Special on-campus activities (Water Day/Game Day) are also scheduled throughout the year.
Extended Day Hours
AM Session: 7:00 – 7:30 AM before school
PM Session: After the regular school day until 6:00 PM
Half Day Sessions: Half day sessions are offered from the end of school until 6:00 PM
Drop-Ins: Drop-in sessions are available for $45 each.
We offer Extended Day on all days that school is in session; except for the last day of school.
Parents may select AM Program, PM Program or the AM and PM Program.

Lower School Clubs
After-school clubs provide Providence students with an excellent opportunity to explore a wide range of educational experiences not normally found in the standard curriculum. Please click on the button below and then “register for events” to register for clubs.

Mrs. McCormick and Mrs. Miller invite K-5 artists to join our after-school Art Club this upcoming winter! Students will learn about different artists, make several different art projects and work with various art mediums. This club will meet every Tuesday from 3:00-4:00 starting on 1/10 and ending on 2/28. Parents are invited on the final day to see what their child created in an Art Show! *Registration fee includes materials needed for projects. Registration is limited to the first 24 artists!

3rd-5th grade students come join the exciting Crazy 8s math club and get fired up about math!! Each week Crazy 8s will learn math skills while running, jumping, music making, and mess making…. all while bonding with new friends over math! This club runs from August 25 – October 13 from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Thursdays.

Join the new STEAM teacher, Mrs. Barnes, and Mrs. Sanders as we learn about God’s creation through STEAM activities. Each week students will explore a different project. We will create origami, pearler beads, tye-dye, slime, and more! Join us every Tuesday for this 6-week after-school club starting August 16- September 20 from 3:00-4:00 pm. Cost is $150 per student. Open to current Providence students in KD through 5th grade.

Kickin’ Stallions is a fun, after school club where participants learn all the key skills required to be successful in the game of soccer. Kickin’ Stallions is open to both boys and girls.
K-2 will be on Mondays starting January 9th from 3:15pm-4:45pm.
The club will be taught by coaches Ian Fraser and Jonathan Pennington.
The children will partake in speed, agility, and balance activities. These are transferable skills that can be used in nearly any sport your child may participate in.
Kickin’ Stallions will be a no-pressure environment. We will incorporate learning into these fun drills and activities. There will be healthy physical activity and important social skills, such as teamwork and communication. Your child will learn the rules, and all the soccer basics of passing and shooting, but most of all have fun!!!

Come join Ms. Green and Mrs. Koenig as we sing songs, play games, and role-play as we learn why manners matter and character counts. We will teach the importance of living by “the Golden Rule,” having an “attitude of gratitude,” honoring your parents and teachers by obeying “right away without delay,” and wearing your “happy eyes.” We will also learn other practical tips on ways of showing respect. Students will also explore telephone manners, table manners, and conversation skills. Our desire is to mold your children into little ladies and gentlemen. This course is designed to “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. This 6-week club meets from 3:00-4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Mini Stallions is a year-long cheerleading class that teaches character development and leadership. Girls in grades K-5 will learn cheerleading motions, jumps, dances, cheers, and chants. The girls will cheer at various middle school football and basketball games. The cheerleaders will help in leading one lower school chapel service. The squad will perform for their grandparents on Grandparents Day and also showcase their year-long program for their parents at the end of the year parent performance. Our program begins in August and goes through May. It is $80 per month plus a required uniform cost in order to participate. There is also a $25 registration fee. Our class meets on Friday’s from 3:10-4:10 PM.
Monday Ballet (3rd-5th gr.) 3:30-4:30
This class continues with the teaching of essential foundations of ballet and praise/worship dance to develop grace and rhythm. It introduces basic positions and steps with a focus on exploring coordination, balance and rhythms. Higher level dance skills and vocabulary are introduced with an emphasis on self-expression and creativity.
Monday Hip Hop (3rd-5th gr.) 4:30-5:30
This is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements.
Tuesday Jazz (3rd-5th gr.) 3:30-4:30
This jazz class teaches intermediate jazz steps and combines the elements of jazz moves with contemporary Christian music. Students will learn the necessary elements of jazz along with the coordination and balance needed for more difficult movements. Your student will grow in technique and have a great time learning in this upbeat, fun class.
