The arts are alive, well, and thriving at Providence. The arts offer unique opportunities to bring glory to the One who authored beauty. Through music, theater, and the visual arts, the arts community at Providence seeks to explore God’s creation and reveal His nature.

We Inspire

The arts program adds breadth to Christian education. It not only inspires students to dramatically improve their talents, but it also provides knowledge and experience. Visual and performing art courses offer students the opportunity to explore and nurture their God-given talents, and to share these gifts in significant ways. The combination of expert teaching, student-centered learning, and superb facilities makes Providence a wonderful place for students to experience the joy of self-expression and to grow richly in their creative endeavors. All of our students learn from teachers who are accomplished artists and musicians, and they gain an appreciation and understanding for culture and the history of art. Providence hosts several performance events including choral concerts, band performances, dance recitals and theatrical productions.

Beyond Our Walls

Providence students have performed far beyond their campus walls at some of the most prestigious theaters in America including the Biltmore Estate, Disney World, and Carnegie Hall. Artwork from students who have competed in various contests is displayed throughout the city and on permanent display at the Capital in Washington, DC. The Visual Art Portfolio program has 100% success with students’ portfolios earning significant scholarships. Providence is proud to stand among elite schools who value the fine arts by offering AP and Honors Visual Arts Courses. Our Jazz Ensemble received “Best In Class at  Disney’s Festival. Providence Dance Company has won numerous awards at Showstopper, Platinum & Applause Competitions as well as performing at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando. In 2014, our students presented the international sensation, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of The Opera, and shattered all attendance records with a cast and crew of over 80 members.  Our students have been awarded lucrative scholarships to attend colleges and universities to pursue their creative talents.  Among Florida private schools with fine arts programs, Providence School is quickly becoming recognized for its strength in performing and visual arts.
