The Providence Parent Teacher Partnership allows our school to tap into skills, experiences and talents beyond what our excellent faculty and staff already bring to Providence.  Parents have the power to reinforce their volunteer service in our school.  Through various opportunities at Providence, volunteers can add value to our campus and programs by leading and serving.

Worthy Servant Fund

Introducing The Worthy Servant Fund which is a voluntary, tax deductible fund for the following:

  • Bless our Teachers and staff at Christmas time with a gift card on behalf of all of the Providence Families.
  • Provide gift cards/plaques for the winning recipients at the year end’s Teacher’s Award Ceremony.
  • Provide help to staff that has fallen on hard times such as a severe illness.
  • Celebrate milestones for our staff (i.e. birth or retirement).

You can anonymously or leave comments when you donate.  The comments will be posted on the website.

PTP Opportunities

Annual Boo Hoo Kindergarten Breakfast

Annual “Boo-Hoo” Kindergarten Breakfast

Volunteers help to plan and support this annual breakfast. The Boo-Hoo breakfast is one of many welcome events that the PTP sponsors.  This event is held in the Dining Hall and is a great opportunity for new family’s to gather with each other to meet and greet as well as share a few tears sending their little ones off.

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Teacher Appreciation Breakfast

Parents and volunteers honor our faculty and staff by hosting an annual breakfast on campus. Parents help to organize the catering and decorations and deliver beautiful flowers, donated and arranged by parent volunteers, to each and every faculty and staff member.

Fall Festival

Fall Festival

Hosted annually by PTP, this festival is a cherished tradition at Providence. Volunteers transform the campus into a carnival atmosphere appropriate for all ages, to celebrate the changing of the seasons in a fun and safe environment.  From decorating to organizing food, beverages, and healthy treats, the volunteers manage one of the biggest and most popular events of the year.

Holiday Gift Cards

Holiday/Gift Cards

Coordinates an appeal for monetary sponsorship gifts from parents that are shared equally among Providence’s faculty and staff through a gift card wish list fulfillment effort during the holidays. Since school policy prohibits individual gift giving, this is a way to say thank you in an equitable manner to all of the people who work with the students.

Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day

Volunteers help to organize food, setup, and cleanup for Providences annual Grandparent Day production.

Used Uniform Sale

Used Uniform Sale

Volunteers collect and organize gently used uniforms and coordinate the sale of the school’s used uniform sale twice a year.

Yearbook & Student Badges

Yearbook/Student Badges

Volunteers manage, edit, design, and publish the school Yearbook. All parents can be Yearbook volunteers by submitting photos of school and classroom activities.  Volunteers collaborate with faculty, staff, and PTP committees to ensure that all of the school events are represented in the Yearbook.

Spring Fundraiser

Spring Fundraiser

In the last few years this has been our Boosterthon/Color Run event. PTP in coordination with the Boosterthon team has motivated our kids with positive and uplifting messages and is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are always looking for new ideas for a big fundraising event during the spring.
