4th Grade Explores Tallahassee
The 4th grade visited Tallahassee on March 24th and 25th. Thursday was spent touring Wakulla Springs by boat to provide a closer view of Florida wildlife. That was followed by a visit to the Tallahassee Museum of History and Natural Science to see Florida’s animals in their habitats. Friday was spent touring the Old Capitol where the students completed a scavenger hunt about the history of Florida’s government. The students also visited the New Capitol where they viewed the Senate and House Chambers. The 4th grade visited the Museum of Florida History to experience past and present cultures in Florida and gained a knowledge and appreciation of this heritage. The 4th-grade teachers would like to thank the parents for taking the time to spend with us on this great trip!
