Providence COVID Update
We are happy to report that Providence currently has no students out due to quarantining. Since the start of this school year, only 2 students have tested positive for COVID and both were due to home exposure, not school. Our school nurses have recently been certified as COVID-19 Education Safety Managers.
Homecoming 2020
Homecoming Week is a treasured time for the Providence community to come together to celebrate and reconnect with friends. While Homecoming 2020 will look different, we are still planning creative ways to celebrate with you this fall. Please see the schedule of events for attendance limitations. Some of the events during the week, will be livestreamed for your convenience. We are grateful for our Homecoming sponsor, Clearsense. Lower School Chapel
In Lower School, we continued the series called: “Five Things I Wish You Knew about God”. We have looked at: How Big God is, Jesus is my King, and God Does Not Expect Me To Be Perfect, How Can We Have A Relationship with God even though We Can’t See Him or Touch Him. We are excited to have time with the Lord that is planned in our school schedule.
You can watch the Livestream of Lower School Chapel on Fridays at 8:10 a.m. Watch This Week’s Chapel.
STEM Classes Build Tower
Last week Ms. Monroe’s Kindergarten and 1st grade classes turned their 2D squares and rectangles into 3D cubes and Rectangular Prisms. They also learned about structural support by building a very tall tower. I had to hold it for them so they could attach it properly.

Upper School Chapel
In this week’s chapel service Pastor Rachel Self gave a very personal testimony of God’s grace, mercy and love when their family began to care for foster children in need. This journey ultimately led to the adoption of their precious son, Logan. Watch how Logan’s life was completely transformed in this miraculous story. We were also blessed by the worship-team from New Life that included two alumni: Caiden Self and Caylee Zink. We are grateful to have time with the Lord that is planned in our school schedule.
You can watch the Livestream of Upper School Chapel on Thursdays at 8:50 a.m. Watch This Week’s Chapel.
