Providence School is pleased to announce the hiring of Coach Kevin Grupp as our new Head Softball Coach. Coach Grupp brings over 20 years of coaching experience and has faithfully served as Providence’s Assistant Head Coach for the past three years.
Coach Grupp’s coaching journey began with the Atlantic Beach Athletic Association, where he worked with the 8U and 10U age groups, focusing on teaching fundamentals and building a love for the game. From there, he went on to coach 10U–18U travel ball teams, achieving multiple state titles, numerous top finishes, and competing at the USSSA World Series, Triple Crown Nationals (South Carolina), and ASA Nationals (Seattle).
Throughout his career, Coach Grupp has helped develop players who have gone on to compete at the Division I college level. His experience also includes six years at Atlantic Coast High School as both an Assistant and Head Coach, where he led the program to back-to-back Gateway Conference Championships and was named Coach of the Year.
