We realize that some families, due to budgeting restraints, do not have the necessary funds to pay the full amount of tuition to register their child(ren). Providence School, on a limited basis, offers tuition assistance to students in grades K-12 whose families can provide documentation of need. Providence Preschool does not award tuition assistance. The tuition assistance program helps to achieve social and economic diversity within our school community. Consideration for financial assistance will be given to families of current students before it is awarded to new families. Providence School will not be able to meet 100% of established need for each applicant, and often, the number of qualified applicants exceeds the tuition assistance resources of the school. Therefore, there is no guarantee that every qualified applicant will receive tuition assistance.
Tuition assistance is offered as a reduction of full tuition, which is determined through an analysis of family financial need. This analysis is completed through FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment, a third party company which reviews income and expenses, along with assets and liabilities of both parents and/or responsible parties. Academic merit or athletic scholarships are not offered. We do not accept the McKay Scholarship; however, we do accept the Step Up For Students (SUFS) scholarship, which is based on income. We encourage families to investigate the Step Up for Students scholarship to find out if they qualify.
If your family has received a Step Up For Students (SUFS) scholarship, please submit it to our accounts manager, Natalie Otwell, firstname.lastname@example.org, to get on the wait list. Providence can only accept a certain number of Step Up For Students scholarships each year.
How to Apply
The tuition assistance application is completed online by clicking on the FACTS icon. FACTS charges a $35 application fee that is payable by credit card. Late applicants may be considered if funds are available. Tuition assistance awards will be made on a “first come, first served” basis until the fund is exhausted. Returning families will have priority.
In order to be considered for tuition assistance for new families, your online student application must be submitted with the required documentation and application fee paid before you proceed with the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment. Thank you!
The financial assistance committee will be meeting to assess the completed applications submitted through FACTS. The balance of awards will be made on a rolling basis as applications are approved.
