Milwaukee Bucks Sign Grayson Allen

Providence Basketball is proud to announce that Grayson Allen, Class of 2014, agreed to a 2-year, $20M extension with the defending NBA champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. The Bucks acquired Allen from the Memphis Grizzlies in a trade this summer. Selected with the 21st overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Jazz, the Duke product spent his rookie season with Utah before playing the last two seasons in Memphis. Allen enters his fourth season in the NBA with career averages of 8.5 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists across 126 games (40 starts) with career shooting percentages of 42.3% overall, 38.1% from three and 83.2% from the line.

Allen played for the Stallions under Coach Jim Martin from 2010-2014, winning two State Championships and three Regional Championships during his high school career, as well as becoming a member of our 1,000 point club. He committed to Duke in 2014 and helped the Blue Devils to victory in the 2015 NCAA Championship game.
