Catching Fire for Christ: Spiritual Emphasis Week at Providence

This week, students enjoyed Spiritual Emphasis Week at Providence—a week-long series of chapel services designed to help our students pause, refocus, and seek the Lord together. Through worship, teaching, and HERD groups, we looked for how God is moving in our midst, praying that this time would not only launch our students into finishing the school year strong, but also serve as a springboard for lives shaped by a deeper understanding of what it means to live into God’s calling and purpose.

This year’s theme was inspired by “The Hunger Games,” with representatives from each grade “district” encouraging students to catch the fire for the Lord and learn the value of seeking after God in their daily walk. The week culminated with an all-school chapel, including seventeen students taking the next step in their faith through water baptism.
