Last Monday, senior Shaina Varghese competed in the Rotary Club of Jacksonville’s annual speech competition at the Omni Hotel downtown. She was one of 37 high school participants from all across the Jacksonville area that participated. She researched, wrote and delivered an exceptional speech on the advancement of technology in the community and across the globe. Rotary Club International is comprised of 1.2 million business men and women from around the world who seek to improve communities, foster economic growth and better friendships both locally and globally. Shaina is currently a speech student of Mrs. Hudson and she represented Providence very well. We congratulate her on being selected for this competition!
