Providence School utilizes a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. All students in grades 9-12 are required to bring a Windows 10 device meeting the recommended minimum requirements stated below. We strongly believe that using technology to engage students in the learning process is a valuable way to prepare our students for their future career endeavors. With Office 365, Canvas Learning Management System, and the integration of new teaching techniques, your child will be better prepared for college and beyond.

The 2018-19 Technology letters are being mailed this week. Please look for this letter with important login information. This information will be necessary to purchase your child’s books and set up your dining account.
Providence School has partnered with Sage Dining Services to provide fresh-cooked meals for your children. To purchase food, you can make online payments including an auto-pay feature to replenish your child’s account weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. We are adding additional auto-pay options for your convenience that will be available as school is beginning. You can also pay by check or cash in the Providence business office. There will be a drop box by the back door of the business office to drop off payments. We will no longer receive payment in the dining hall.
The dining portal at https://www.prov.org/campus-life/dining-services uses an SSO (Single Sign-on) system linked to your student’s campus network account. You will receive a technology letter over the summer to provide you the login information for all of our campus systems. Note: If your child changes the password on campus this new password should be used for the dining logins as well. We are implementing a self-service password management system that will allow password resets and unlocks 24/7. This information will be provided in the technology letter as well.
Please remember we are a school and have students walking in the driving and parking areas. We ask that you drive as if your own child is in the parking lot. Speeding, illegally passing cars and cutting through parking spaces is not allowed as this seriously increases the chances of an accident. We ask that you refrain from the use of mobile devices while in the car pool lanes. Traffic is especially heavy at peak times (20 minutes before and after the start and dismissal of school). Remember that the first week is always particularly hectic, so we do ask for your patience as our parents become acquainted with the traffic pattern. Please allow extra time in your schedule for drop off during the first week.
There are three lanes for carline:
All vehicles dropping off a K-2 grader should enter from the North entrance and drop off in the lane closest to the building following the red dashed line.
All other vehicles may enter from the North or the South entrance and follow the blue lines.
- If entering from the North with 3-12 graders any of the three lanes may be used.
- If entering from the South only the lane going through the parking lot may be used.
All lanes have designated drop off locations – please proceed to the next available location to drop of students. For the safety of all our students, when vehicles are in stopped in the appropriate spots there should be about 6 feet between the back of one car and the front of another.
Parents wanting to park for drop-off or pick-up, must park in the designated lots and cross and at the designated crosswalks.
We appreciate your assistance in keeping everyone in the Providence family safe during carline.
Maps and traffic flow patterns are given out during Parent Orientation and will be available on-line. Please observe the “No Parking” in the fire lanes or in the lanes in front of the school. Please always use the designated crosswalks. Students are watching for role models.
You can subscribe to our e-News and get all of the latest information from Providence. This will be our main form of school-wide communication.
You can find all of the required school forms here.
STUDENT INFORMATION UPDATE
It is very important that we have the most up-to-date information about your student.
