Lower School Field Day 2024

Our lower school students had a fantastic field day filled with bounce houses, tug of war, cornhole, and many other fun games and activities. It was a day full of excitement and laughter for all the students involved. The event provided a great opportunity for the children to bond and enjoy some outdoor fun together.

Providence Hosts Special Olympics ’24

Providence School was honored to collaborate with Special Olympics Florida, uniting 58 Special Olympics athletes from North Florida School of Special Education with Providence students of similar ages, for a day of camaraderie. Some of our Spanish honor society students met at a local apartment complex Saturday afternoon to spread the gospel and put on an epic Easter egg hunt for the primarily Spanish-speaking residents!! What a blessing be in mission in our own city!!

Helping Paws Club Donates to Jacksonville Humane Society

Helping Paws Club partnered with National Honor Society and Anchor Club to make dog toys as donation for the Jacksonville Humane Society. Using student donated t-shirts, club members cut and created the no-sew dog toys making around 75 toys for the adoptable pets.

Prov Students Attend Thespian State Competition

Congratulations to Audrey Rivera, Akeelah Monroe and Trey Murphy for their outstanding performances at the Thespian State Competition. Trey received Judges Choice and will be performing on the main stage this Saturday to compete for a spot in the National Competition!

Jim Martin Wins Prestigious Coaching Award

Band Earns Highest Rating at District, Qualifies for State!

On February 29and March 1, 2024 the Providence Concert Band (primarily 6th and 7th graders) and Providence Wind Ensemble (advanced band) participated in the Florida Bandmasters Association District 17 Concert Music Performance Assessment.
