5th Grade Science Gets Visit From Nasa Engineer

Jacob Reichhardt, Class of 2016, visited Providence for his 2nd year to speak to our 5th graders who are studying, building & launching rockets in science class this winter.

Jacob works at Kennedy Space Center as an Aerospace Engineer with NASA’s Launch Services Program (LSP). Specifically, he works on the Dynamic Environments Team, which makes sure that the rocket doesn’t shake itself apart during launch.

Every time Jacob comes to campus, everyone gets excited to meet a real-life rocket scientist! We are very proud of Jacob & look forward to many more years ahead of him teaching our students how fun engineering can be! 🚀
