Middle School Curriculum
The Middle School focuses on the development of the whole child through a rich and challenging curriculum that balances traditional and innovative teaching methods.
Teachers build study strategies as they incorporate technology, experiential learning, and critical thinking skills into the daily curriculum. The goal is to prepare students for a seamless transition to high school – and for their lives beyond.
Core Curriculum

Students are taught ELA through experiences with literature, vocabulary, written expression, grammar, speaking, and listening.
SCIENCE
SCIENCE
Students have a blast using critical thinking skills while learning about life science, earth, and space science and physical science through a Biblical worldview.
BIBLE

Each day students study the Bible including the Old and New Testaments, understanding the nature of God, and how to explain a Christian worldview.
HEALTH & PE

Students take physical education all three years of middle school including the HOPE course required for high school graduation.
MATHEMATICS

Students are taught foundational skills as well as procedural and conceptual understanding with a variety of real-world and mathematical problems.

Students learn about contribution of different world cultures, the history of the United States, and our functions of the government through reading, analysis, and inquiry.
FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Students are offered the option to explore foreign languages as well as take Spanish or French for high school credit.
